ABOUT KURUKA MAISHA

Kuruka Maisha Foundation is a Kenyan organization whose objects are fundamentally aimed at improving the standard and conditions of life, education, general and vocational training by moving given street children or youth from a condition of extreme vulnerability and dependency to one of self-sufficiency and well being .this is achieved through art curriculum development and a sustainable mentorship program providing the skills, education, and leadership training to support the youths continued growth and success.

2. Positive change is possible if you give opportunity,work with and respect people you work.

3. Encouraging the young’s creativity means creative adults.

4. Culture is critical to sustainable human development.

The organization has been active for more than a decade and in 2013 they performed for Michelle Obama at the East Room of the White House in Washington, when they were presented with the “International Spotlight Award”
